The Search for Meaning in a Digital World!

My research journey began as a graduate student in the US. I worked on creating languages that machines can use to talk to each other, thus, making human life easier and efficient. Eventually, I finished my graduate school and then moved on to working in the technology industry. Eventually, I moved on to pursuing Ph.D., where I was able to explore many areas that sparked my curiosity. As an academic, I studied the impact of information technology on individual and organizational productivity and performance. My research explored how digital tools shape the way we work, collaborate, and deliver results: both in traditional corporate settings and in critical sectors like healthcare. I was particularly drawn to understanding how technological change affects human behavior, decision-making, and long-term outcomes. Over time, these questions led me beyond performance metrics and into more humanistic inquiries.

Now, having stepped away from academia, I find myself at a new crossroads ; one that mirrors the very questions I am most drawn to: What gives our lives meaning and purpose? How do individuals navigate transitions, uncertainty, or hardship and still find joy and peace? My research interests have shifted toward the inner workings of well-being : happiness, intentional living, contentment, and conscious existence. Through this blog, I aim to explore these topics from a deeply personal, reflective, and research-informed perspective. I’m interested in how people craft meaningful and purposeful lives, especially when faced with life’s complexity or change. This space will serve as an evolving inquiry into the emotional, psychological, and philosophical dimensions of human experience. In essence, what matters to us beyond the tremendous noise? Thanks for being here! Truly!
